Product Overview
PQWT-TCM Series Geophysical Water Survey Detector utilizes natural electric field sources as its working principle. It detects resistivity contrasts between underground rocks, minerals, and groundwater aquifers by measuring natural electric field components from the earth's surface to horizontal axis X and vertical axis Z subsurface. The instrument analyzes different frequency electric field components and their variations to study abnormal changes in surface and subsurface formations' magnetic energy.
This electrical prospecting method measures electrical field components and electromagnetic energy variations. Data collected by the instrument is automatically presented as curves and profiles through its unique built-in calculation function. The resulting profile images and curves clearly display subsurface formation structures and characteristics, enabling quick identification of faults, contacts, fractures, linear structures, joints, cavities, and aquifers.
